โ— Our story

We run the fleet so you can run the business

SwiftCab is a Nairobi fleet management company. We put vetted drivers behind the wheel, log every shilling collected, and settle with owners every Tuesday.

Why we started

Built by Nairobi operators who know the road

SwiftCab began with a frustration every vehicle owner in this city recognises: you hand over your car, and from that moment you're guessing. Guessing what it earned. Guessing what the repair really cost. Guessing whether the driver will pick up the phone.

So we built the opposite. We handle everything from vetting drivers to assigning them with the right vehicles. We collect daily vehicle payments, track vehicles on the road, and maintain the fleet so you don't have to chase mechanics. Every collection is logged the day it happens. Every repair is itemized with a receipt.

Every Tuesday, owners get a settlement they can check line by line โ€” and the same numbers sit in their dashboard, available at 2am if that's when they want to look. Drivers get the same clarity: a fair hire rate agreed up front, a car that's properly maintained, and an office that answers when something breaks.

What we stand for

Three rules we don't bend

They sound simple. Holding to them daily is the whole job.

๐Ÿงพ

Show the math

Collections, maintenance and commission are itemized on every settlement. If a number moves, you can see exactly which entry moved it.

๐Ÿค

Treat drivers as partners

Fair hire rates, cars that are serviced on schedule, and support when something goes wrong on the road. Good drivers stay where they're respected.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Fix it before it breaks

Scheduled servicing, tracked inspections and document renewals handled ahead of time โ€” because downtime costs the owner more than the repair does.

How we got here

From two cars to a managed fleet

The order matters โ€” each stage taught us what the next one needed.

2021

Two cars and a notebook

We started managing two vehicles for family friends, reconciling M-Pesa collections by hand every evening.

2023

The notebook broke

At thirty vehicles, paper stopped working. We built the first version of the collections log that still runs the business today.

2024

Owners got their own login

Instead of sending screenshots, we opened the dashboard to owners so they could check earnings, maintenance and documents themselves.

2026

200+ vehicles across Nairobi

Same rules, bigger fleet: daily logging, weekly settlements, and a team that answers the phone.
